Articulate 360

When it comes to experiential eLearning made easy, no one today is in the class of Articulate 360 and its flagship software, Storyline 360. Of the entire suite of products, Storyline 360, Rise 360, the rich Content Library and the Articulate Review feature are far and away the most useful. For the most complex interactive and adaptive eLearning experiences, Storyline 360 is a great tool to call upon. Video tools such as Peek and Replay 360 are still better served by Camtasia. Studio 360 still positions itself as an older tool between Rise and Storyline, though I suspect it will not be supported for a lot longer. For mobile viewing, flexibility and quick to deploy time for fixed and even some interactive courses Rise just can’t be beat.
Camtasia 2025

Camtasia 2025 is a feature rich screen recorder that has evolved into a very capable full featured video editor for more applications than just teaching and screencasts. Camtasia shines where teaching meets video and branding. If your project needs video and branding only, a tool like Adobe Premiere is a great feature rich professional video editor, but even then, I will not sell Camtasia short. If you need an experiential course that also needs great videos, Camtasia’s rich teaching overlays, animations and callouts can be exported and then imported into Rise 360 or Storyline 360 for amazing flexibility, interactions and results collection.
Snagit 2025

Snagit is another TechSmith product that, like its big brother Camtasia, has seen some serious upgrades beyond being an image clipping tool. With its ability to capture scrolling screens and picture in picture video, along with time saving templates for creating step-by-step technical documentation, this tool is a must for any visual learning creators. Snagit makes quick work of job aids and step-by-step systems teaching documents to convert into manuals and guides, as well as some quick how to video sharing.
